Surreal Dreams; An Expedition Beyond The Unknown
"Surreal Dreams" was a milestone for me—it was my first solo exhibition. The exhibition took place at Palette People Gallery and Art Studio, Mattancherry, Kochi, India. I exhibited 29 paintings, each one representing a step in my artistic journey up to that point. The works ranged from surreal landscapes to abstract forms, and the visions i had, all rooted in my relation with the creative spirit and the unknown. This exhibition was a reflection of the paintings I created over time. I included the paintings i did since 2020, each piece marking a significant moment in my growth as an artist.
The exhibition as a whole was a way for me to look back on the journey I have been on as an artist-each painting represented a lesson, a moment of inspiration, or a new direction in my work. The exhibition took place in my home town, which made it more special to me. My parents, friends and relatives and the people I know from my childhood had the chance to experience, and take part in this journey with me. I was overwhelmed by the positive response, which gave me the courage to keep pushing forward, to continue exploring the unknown, and to share that journey with others. The exhibition was covered my multiple news papers and media.
